CONTEST “PEOPLE COM VOICE”

With the objective of encouraging musical and cinematographic talents, in addition to promoting the integration of the two countries of the Bacia do Rio da Prata, the Audiovisual Foundation FUNDAV convenes for the first contest of original songs“People with Voice”, which will be governed in accordance with the following rules:

Singers, composers and singer-songwriters can participate in two member countries of the Bacia do Rio da Prata (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay).

The inscriptions must be individual. (only soloists, no groups)

The participants will have to send a digital audio file with music recorded and mastered in broadcast quality plus the lyrics of the music.

The rhythm and musical genre are free, at duration two songs will be from 3 to 4 minutes.

The compositions must be around the theme“Integration and coexistence between countries and cultures”.

Each candidate will be able to present up to 2 songs with original and unpublished lyrics and music.

The songs will be used for the production of a video clip during the Cinematographic Encounter of the SANTA CRUZ 100X100 PROJECT during the Santa Cruz International Film Festival - FENAVID Bolivia.

Each candidate must be available to record or video clip in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, during the Santa Cruz International Film Festival between October 19 and 25, 2017.

The selection of the winning music will be fair based on not containing the lyrics, the quality of the music and the interpretation.

O júri will be composed of musicians, filmmakers and other cultural personalities of international renown designated by the sponsoring organizations (FONPLATA and FENAVID).

The jury's decision will be unappealable.

If the authorship of the lyrics and/or musical composition does not correspond to the performer, the performer must present a sworn declaration assinated by their own author in which they certify that the performer has the authorization of the author and composer of the lyrics to participate in the contest.

Registrations will only be available on the Internet pages of the Santa Cruz International Film Festival (www.fenavid.com) or on FONPLATA (www.fonplata.org).

The inscriptions can be made until August 10, 2017, mid-night (Bolivian official time).

The organization will not accept incomplete registrations before the deadline.

The organizers will choose the 10 best songs. The first 5 places will be awarded with a video clip production, air passage, hotel and food (for a person) during the Festival; The places from 6 to 10 will be awarded with the production of a video clip, hotel and food (for a person). All winners will receive a credential for the Festival.

As soon as the results are announced, the winner must send a letter of commitment to the Festival informing of their total availability of time and schedule for the realization of the video clip.

The winners may provide ideas for the production, but must accept the aesthetic and narrative proposal of the production team designated by the Santa Cruz 100X100 Project.

The organization may use the songs and video clips partially or totally for promotional purposes, non-profit purposes, on the physical, digital, audiovisual and audio platforms of FONPLATA and the Santa Cruz International Film Festival - FENAVID before, during and after Festival. The candidates cede their voice and image rights to the organization for this purpose.
